Best Game of Each Category - 2026, April 10th

Last night as writing this I made this "Best game of each category.

This one is well made as in it has a lot of variety in categories and is hard and unlikely for one game to take over be every category the only way I can think of this occuring is if someone has only played 2 games (for one to be underrated/overhated and overrated) as I can't really imagine a good multiplayer game with a good story and even then it's only 95% one game. I'm only going to go over the no repeats as I feel like the repeats should be obvious. There will be spoilers. You have been warned. Nya :3

Best Game - Persona 3 Portable: P3p as I've mentioned on various SNS that p3p is my favourite game ever it kinda has to go here. I would've loved to have put it in other categories as well but favourite game has to go into best game. Not going to go into why it's my favourite game here as that's not the point of this "post."

Best Story - Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Best story is another one I wish to give to p3p but alas it was already being used runner up would be xc1 but alas it's also already in use somewhere I really want it. So xc3 which has an amaing well everything (2nd best xeno being beaten by xc1) takes the cake.

Favourite Art Stle - Xenoblade Chronicles 2: This was orginally going to go to xc1 then xc3 and now to xc2. All three numbered xc games are all absolutly gorgeous (xcx also is but I like the numbered games style more) I'm just using all of the other games so xc2 it is (not using the side stories as well they have the same style as their base game and also I wanted to put xc2 somewhere.)

Biggest Personal Impact - Fire Emblem: Three Houses: I really like fe3h. Nya :3

Best Combat - Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition: I'm yet to beat xcx but its combat system is a more in depth version of xc1's combat system. Nya :3

Overhated - Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest: Not going to sugar coat it fates has a bad story but it has really fun gameplay which I'd say makes up for it (if people say that engage can do it this way fates can as it has better gameplay.) Nya :3

Underrated - Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem: Heroes of Light and Shadow: Being a Japanese exclusive game that is a remake of the 2nd half of the 3rd game as the previous installment was a remake of the first half and of the first game, kinda leaves you not to be as known but it still is a very fun game.

Overrated - Kirby and the Forgotten Land: i dont like kirby games and i got harrassed back on twitter for not liking this game so. Nya :3

Needs a Remake - Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War: fe4 remake when you wusses.

Criminally Overlooked - Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE pretend this in encore the lsit didnt have encore for some reason and I was too lazy to add it. Tmsfe is such a fun game it's like the easiest jrpg ive played and I played it on hard but its so fun.

Favourite Protagonist - Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition: I really like Shulk. Shulk is awesome. I love Shulk. The "Sh" in "Shulk" stand for "she/her." Big fan of Shulk. Nya :3

Favourite Antagonist - Xenoblade Chronicles 3: Future Redeemed: N. I really like N's character xc3 is already being used so future redeemed plus Na'el and Alpha are pretty fun and cool. For the repeat version its xc1 for Zanza and Egil and Metal Face mostly Zanza.

Best Soundtrack - Persona 4 Golden: P4g has a very nice soundtrack better then p5r's tbh snowflakes poweder snow remix sweep.

Best Multiplayer - Super Mario Maker 2: I don't really play multiplayer games and when I do play games with multiplayer functions I tend to avoid them unless its a friend. Smm2 is a very multiplayer heavy game that I can avoid other players easily while playing so yeah. Blame years of bullying ig. Nya :3333

Not Usually My Thing, But... - Stardew Valley I'm not usually a fan of simulation/cozy games but Stardew is different. I was orginally gonna put Stardew down on "Turn My Brain Off" as its relaxing before remebering I play with at least 5 wiki tabs and at least 1 spreadsheet and I somehow find that relaxing. Nya :3

Turn My Brain Off - Umamusume: Pretty Derby: yeah i turn off my brain and dont do much thinkign when i play gacha games. Nya :3

Best With Friends - Splatoon 3: as previously mentioned i don't really play many multiplayer games I did play Splat 3 with some friends once and had a good amount of fun.

Best Retro Game - Xenosaga Episode I - Der Wille zur Macht: I am yet to beat xs1 but i can't really think of a retro game I like more at the moment.

Nostalgic Childhood Game - Mario Kart 8: I played a lot of mk8 on the wii u with my brother when i was younger and have some really fond memories of it.

Game Everyone Should Play - Fire Emblem: Awakening: if I could repeat this would go to p3p but I cant so its going to fe13. fe13 is a very fun game and yeah. Nya :3
